Jose da Silva LEITAO , son of ANTONIO DA SILVA LEITAO and DONA MARIA JOAQUINA MANADAS , was born in Vil de Matos, Portugal,  on January 6, 1872 and died on January 12, 1961 , being buried in Aracatuba SP. He was married with DONA MARIA ANTONIA , born in Rios Frios, Portugal , and divorced her  on April 23, 1927 , and  came as an immigrant to Brazil , where he was working on the Railroad Mogiana in the region of Frutal/ Uberaba / Jaguara region, when  he met the widow of a French language teacher ( whose name is not known ) the DONA MARIA FAUSTA DA CONCEICAO , daughter of Geronimo and Maria Goncalves Beirigo Vicência da Conceicao , whose maiden name was Beirigo Silva ( born on ... 1888) and died in Penápolis , São Paulo,  in 27 February 1950,  aged 62 , being buried in Aracatuba - ( SP ) . Her ex-husband , who also wielded political activities , was the victim of a crime . Mr. Jose da Silva LEITAO  married her, taking her two sons , Jose Joaquim Coimbra, Antonio  Coimbra , and she had more other children , who are , Antonio da Silva Coimbra , Coimbra and Anita Fausta Isabel da Silva . MARIA's father , GERONIMO GONSALVES BEIRIGO , had six sons and six daughters ,was a rich farmer, owner of many properties and political chief in the region of Frutal - MG , and disowned his daughter when she refused an arranged marriage to a farmer , and married a teacher , who also had a political chief. She married at 15 and widowed at 19 years .Before she lost her husband, she worked as a mailwoman, delivering letters. After the  mysterious death of her husband, she was forced to flee with her two kids, and abandon their property. My grandfather found it near the tracks of the railroad, now a defunct rail siding near Conquista-MG, and went to live with her ​​and care for children from a previous marriage . She got a job as a cook on the railroad , and preparing the food for the railroad  maintenance teams in  Jaguara-MG . My father, ANTONIO COIMBRA,  met one of her brothers, who was visiting her sister in Penápolis in the thirties .
P.S: GERONIMO GONSALVES BEIRIGO, was mentioned in an issue of the DIARIO OFICIAL DA UNIAO in the year of  1936, he was pursuing a demand for a large area of land in the region of Frutal/Planura - MG . All places here mentioned, except Vil de Matos and Rios Frios in Portugal,  are in Brasil, in the state of Sao Paulo or state of Minas Gerais.
